The Fear: Camera Car

We’re currently working out how to shoot our Music Video for Ben Lovett.  The idea is to create a side scroller through the streets of Atlanta packed with all sorts of volunteers ranging from carnival madmen to uptight suburbanites to shadowy lurkers.  We hope to attract all sorts of Atlantans wanting to participate in something unique on a Friday night.

Here’s the camera car animatic for now.  Old man is our subject, think of him as Mario on the old NES.  More on this later, but if you want to get involved… hit me up.  The album is badass.

LITTLE RED BUTTON

Nick Tecosky and I have completed draft one of our new micro budget feature.

Here’s a little glimpse of the animatics Alan Melling was tossing together based on our treatment.  Long way to go still, but I was impressed with way his brain works.

World Water Relief in Haiti

World Water Relief has jumped on the disaster response to last week’s earthquake in Port-au-Prince.  Friday we were able to send two guys down to Barahona on the Dominican/Haiti border to begin preparations for moving solar powered portable water purifying units into Haiti.  These guys have just dropped a mountain of their own cash to make this possible.  Tiny donations equal more units, equals more clean water.  Spread the word.

You can follow their blog here on the ground. http://www.worldwaterrelief-haiti.org/v

Follow them @ http://twitter.com/wwrglobal

We’ve also been throwing some video diaries together here in the Atl to get the word out.  Please forward on.

The GLOBAL AGENDA TEASER is COMPLETE!

Check it here or link to it on gametrailers.com

I worked with video game developer HI-REZ to concept , produce and direct a new game teaser for their upcoming MMO/FPS/RPG game GLOBAL AGENDA.

All the action sequences were shot in game with a group of game testers.  The cinematic sequences were created in their MOCAP system and detailed by their team of animators.  And Anessa Ramsey voiced the future soldier!

GLOBAL AGENDA

Turns out I’m working with Global Agenda design team at High Rez to construct their new story centered marketing trailer.  We’ll be crunching existing cinematic sequences and gameplay footage into a cohesive story plot.  I also plan on working with their MOCAP set up additional cinematic tie ins to the story.

The game features an awesome MMORPGFPS (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game First Person Shooter) design interface.  Player agencies will be able to capture existing territories and hold them indefinitely, offering a persistent world of gameplay.  VERY COOL.

This also serves as research possibility for my ever going “Dark White” project, that deals with persistent worlds, identity crisis and interactive gameplay.  I’m super psyched to work with the High Rez Kids.
